Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SearchOps Academy NZ services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These terms apply to all users of our training programs and website.
Description of Service
SearchOps Academy NZ provides certified training programs for mid-level managers focusing on evidence-based research workflows using AI tools including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Zotero.
Our services include live cohort workshops, on-demand modules, practical playbooks, and certification programs.
User Registration and Accounts
To access certain features of our services, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Payment Terms and Refunds
Payment is required in advance for all training programs. We accept various payment methods as indicated during the enrollment process. All fees are non-refundable except as specifically stated in our refund policy.
Corporate team licenses and custom training programs may have different payment terms as specified in separate agreements.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and resources provided through our training programs are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any work you create during our training programs, while we retain ownership of our training materials and methodologies.
User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair our services or interfere with other users' access.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate professional conduct during live workshops and interactions with other participants.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Certification and Completion
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of program requirements as determined by SearchOps Academy NZ. Certificates may be revoked if obtained through fraudulent means or if terms are violated.
Continuing education requirements may apply to maintain certification status.
Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with reasonable notice.
Training schedules and content may be updated to reflect current best practices and technological developments.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SearchOps Academy NZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SearchOps Academy NZ from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or our business.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us, subject to our refund policy.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Wellington, New Zealand.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
